Does the world float???

After a couple of weeks of thinking and trying to figure out where it may be, we finally narrowed it down to a couple of places. Was it at Cummins "World" Headquarters or at the old Arvin building? I don't know do you, I don't know do you, I think you do! (Anybody get that movie quote?)

It appears that it does!! We found the floating globe at a place of learning sitting upon a stack of books. As soon as I arrived, I had the urge to read, however I could not get the books open. I must be a wimp. On the other hand, Sarah had an easy time spinning the world on one finger. Thanks for showing me up honey. I guess that is what a "wife" is for, always pointing out my flows, just kidding, not really. (How about that one?)

We both thought that it was very interesting that a mere 12 pounds of pressure can cause that massively heavy globe to float and spin. Weird how science works, huh?

The Tour Continues...

We decided that our next stop was to find the great Dr. Melissa Webb's office and get our picture taken with her sign. First off, we thought that it was hilarious that she had her own parking space, being that she should be there before her patients, so we decided show our dissatisfaction, ha ha :)! Seeing her name on the parking spot gave me some of my own ideas...

Next, Sarah decided that she needed some new specs and wanted to offer Dr. Webb a new look for a pair of sweet shades. Nice right?

The Picture Tour Begins...

We decided to make a day of searching town for different tasks. We started with the sculpture that was saved by one of last years teams, EOS. We have all seen it at times in Columbus, however we simply drive by it and take it for granted. I am glad that it was on the list of things to do so that we could all take a moment and truly look at some of the things that Columbus has to offer.

With true inspiration, I thought that perhaps I could fly while Sarah, for some reason, was an Egyptian.

Rock the Park

We hope that everyone had a blast at Rock the Park. We are sorry that we missed you all. We were slated to work and then Kevin got called away on business so our team was unable to make it. We are planning for a stronger second leg and finish to the Amazing Race.

John Goll opens our eyes...

If you were able to make the talk put on by John Goll, you got the great pleasure of hearing a wonderful man spread some important knowledge. In my opinion, we never really take the time to listen to eachother deeply enough, and now we know why. As John Goll so easily showed us all, there are many types people out there in the world, and perhaps the most important thing to learn is where you fit in. That enables you to understand what makes you tick. It allows you to look into yourself and see what happens in good days and bad ones, and if you are brave enough, it gives you the knowledge to be a better person in the world.

As you will see, we put out names in the locations that we believe that we fall in. Not only is it good to see where we fall, but it is even more important to know where everyone else falls.

PS. Thanks Todd for letting me publicly display my admiration and undeniable love for you!!!

Fireworks go BOOM!!!

Unfortunately, we did not have the great pleasure of staying very long at the fireworks being that I had a company outing to go too. However, I did get to play some cornhole and I caught a glimpse of the future of Kevin and myself. Sarah started to laugh and had to take a picture being that the two black labs tied up represented our team name so well.
